SOCIAL ACTIVITIES
We have plenty of fun in all our activities whether they are related to community service or fund raising. Additionally we enjoy social activities designed to let us have a fun time and get to know each other better.

The social activities are aimed at making us a cohesive group thereby underpinning our ability to serve the community better.

(a) Australia Day Breakfast

(b) Bush Walk

Twice a year Macgregor Lions don their walking shoes for a bush walk. On Sunday 18 April the walk was in Karawatha Forest, off Compton Road, after which everyone enjoyed a hearty bush breakfast.

(e) Partners' Christmas Party

(f) Guess who is coming for lunch/dinner

Objectives and Ethics

WE SERVE

Our Objectives:

Create and foster understanding amongst peoples of the world
Promote good government and citizenship
Fund and assist the disabled, disadvantaged and infirm
Unite Clubs in the bonds of friendship and mutual understanding
Provide a forum for the discussion of all matters of public interest
Encourage service-minded people to serve the community

Our Ethics:

Seek success and fair remuneration as my just due
Remember that in building up my business it is not necessary to tear another's down
Be loyal to my clients and customers and true to myself
When in doubt, resolve such doubt against myself
Hold friendship as an end and not a means
Always bear in mind my obligations as a citizen to my nation, my state and my community
Aid others by giving my sympathy to those in distress
Be careful with my criticism and liberal with my praise
Build up and not destroy
